Why we started
nearmeghana.com was founded in 2025 after a simple frustration: searching for a business in Ghana too often returned nothing, even for places that had been open for years. Map listings were thin, directories were empty or full of inflated claims, and the good local spots stayed invisible.
So we started building the directory we wanted to use. Every listing is a real, verifiable business. Every count on this site reflects the actual dataset. If a city has few listings, we say so plainly and invite owners to submit theirs, instead of pretending the directory is bigger than it is.
